Version of You

A Quick Poem

Everyone else is a version of you.

It’s easy to ignore, but it remains true.

From the blind to the deaf,

From the old to the youth.

Everyone else is a version of you.

We are one and the same.

In a different universe, your places change.

So you can justify all actions, even the insane.

That’s not to say the actions are right.

But try to lead them toward the light.

Walk a mile in their shoes.

Understand where they come from, because it is true,

That everyone else is a version of you.
